Why Choose Us?

Your asbestos removal company needs to have a number of things in place to be compliant with the current Regulations. Savy Enviro Services:

  • Is proud of our audited and certified Health & Safety system. We are accredited to ISO 45001 (which is required by law for Class A removalists), have a 100% pass rate in SiteWise and a 5-star rating with Impac.
  • Are licensed with WorkSafe. The company holds its own license, as does each of our supervisors.
  • Have qualified removalists - all workers have passed their Class A & Class B worker unit standard. All of our staff are employees, not contractors - peace of mind that we will do a quality job.
  • Always wrap, transport and dispose of asbestos waste correctly. A Crush & Bury Certificate is available as proof that we have disposed of the waste at a certified landfill.
  • Will provide you with a transparent quote at a reasonable price. Some companies take advantage of businesses with their high prices, baffling small print and variations that they add in later.

Getting Things Rolling

Once you've approved our quote, we'll issue you with a 50% deposit invoice.

If your removal is friable (Class A) or non-friable (Class B) and is more than 10m2, this will require an online notification to WorkSafe. From the date the online notification is submitted there is a 5 day stand down period where we are not allowed to start work. This stand down period is mandatory across the industry and is outside of our control.

If your quantity is non-friable and less than 10m2, no notification is required.

Considering the notification period, we'll discuss with you and schedule the job as you need. Whether this be asap, or to work in with other trades, we'll do what we can to minimize disruption to you.

An asbestos assessor is required for notifiable work. We will liaise with the tester to have them attend site at the correct stage, from the start of the project through to clearance.

A site file will be created which contains the Health & Safety documentation needed for asbestos removal. We will compile our Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) and the Asbestos Removal Control Plan (ARCP), all of which is available to you if you require.

Savy Enviro Services is happy to complete your H&S Prequalification documentation, provide evidence of our robust H&S system and complete inductions as required.

Before Work Starts

If disconnection of services is required, this would have been discussed with you at the time of quoting. Let us know if you need us to liaise with your tradesmen so the work can be programmed to run smoothly.

A day or so out from our arrival is a good time to shift contents. We would have discussed with you at the time of our site visit what is required in this regard.

Savy Enviro Services understands your business needs to continue while the work takes place. We are happy to discuss options with you so that there is minimal disruption to your day to day operations, so long as we can remain compliant to Regulation.

06 On The Day

On The Day

Savy Enviro Services will attend site at the agreed time and establish the site. During our time on site, no unauthorised persons can be in the vicinity.

A toolbox meeting will be had between the staff and the plan communicated to the team. All of our H&S correspondence is sent back to our office via our customised H&S app.

For non-friable work site establishment includes setting up barriers (tape/fencing), signage and a 4-stage decontamination unit.

Once the removal area is set up, the asbestos removal will take place.

Once the asbestos removal has been completed, we will arrange with the asbestos assessor for them to carry out their visual inspection for clear-ance.

The tester will give a written confirmation of clearance, issuing their report shortly after (1-2 days depending on the company).

We'll send you a same-day invoice via email once the work is complete.

H&S correspondence, completed documentation and photographs are available to you if requested, through Google Drive access into your job file.
